Job Summary:

The Engineer/Designer is responsible for the design, development, and validation of vehicle components and systems to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and innovation. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality to deliver high-quality and cost-effective design solutions.

Job Descriptions:

  • Design and develop automotive components and systems using CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, customer requirements, and emerging technologies to support design innovation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and integration.
  • Create prototypes and perform testing or simulation to verify performance, functionality, and safety.
  • Review and analyze design specifications, safety regulations, and cost parameters throughout the design and development process.
  • Prepare and present design concepts, proposals, and revisions to management or project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of design data, drawings, test results, and development processes.
  • Revise and improve existing designs to enhance performance, reduce production costs, or comply with updated standards and regulations.
  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by your superior or the Management.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of internship or co-op experience in automotive parts design (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) and 3D modeling tools.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of automotive safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong creativity and visualization capabilities for conceptualizing innovative and practical designs.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and present ideas clearly to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools and prototyping equipment for part validation.
