Job summary

A construction company in Seelong, Johor is seeking a Civil Engineer to perform analysis and detailing of precast structures. You'll lead drafters in producing compliant shop drawings and review those drawings for accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of structural design experience, including familiarity with design software like Staad Pro and ETABS. Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design & detailing of precast structures.
• Lead/coordinate with drafters to produce precast shop drawings in accordance with the project schedule & requirements.
• Review shop drawings and ensure that these drawings are in order, following the design intent.
• Attend meetings with the client/main contractor/architect/consultant.
• Any other job function assigned, and new responsibilities may be added as and when necessary, from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of structural design experience.
• Conversant with the international code/standard of design.
• Familiar with design software such as Staad Pro, ETABS, Tekla Structural Designer and etc.
