Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Shah Alam is seeking an experienced EHS & ESG Manager to oversee safety, health, environmental, and sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations while fostering a culture of safety. Responsibilities include managing compliance audits, leading ESG projects, and preparing reports for management. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and mandatory registration as a Safety & Health Officer with DOSH. This role demands 7-10 years of experience in EHS within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH is mandatory.
• Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in EHS within a manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to ESG, sustainability, or energy management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA, EQA, and other regulations.
• Manage Permit-to-Work, LOTO, contractor safety, and high-risk activities.
• Lead ESG initiatives covering energy, waste, carbon emissions, and circular economy.

Skills

Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO)

Knowledge of Malaysian EHS laws and regulations

Energy efficiency project management

Strong communication skills

Education
