Key Responsibilities
  • Design engaging and implement play-rich activities that spark curiosity in line with the Reggio Emilia approach and PERMATA domains.
  • Incorporate natural materials, open-ended resources, and project-based learning into daily activities.
  • Observe, document, and reflect on children’s interests, progress, and developmental milestones.
  • Ensure children’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times.
  • Support children’s routines such as feeding, diapering/toileting, rest, and hygiene in a respectful and nurturing manner.
  • Maintain an organized, aesthetically pleasing, and purposeful classroom environment that reflects children’s learning journeys.
  • Display children’s work and learning documentation to honour their creativity and thinking.
  • Build respectful, trusting relationships with parents and caregivers through open communication and regular updates.
  • Work as part of a team to co-plan and co-reflect on curriculum, projects, and classroom practices.
Qualifications
  • Has a Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
