Job summary

A reputable transportation service provider in Selangor is seeking a dedicated Driver/Despatch to ensure safe and timely transportation of employees and documents. The ideal candidate should possess a Class D driving license, a Class B2 motorcycle license, and have good knowledge of Klang Valley routes. Responsibilities include delivering documents, performing bank errands, and vehicle maintenance. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as Driver or Despatch preferred.
  • Able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility.
  • Physically fit and able to handle light loading/unloading tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Drive company employees and visitors to designated destinations safely.
  • Deliver and collect documents according to schedule.
  • Maintain proper documentation including delivery logs.

Job description
  • Drive company employees, management, or visitors to designated destinations safely and punctually.
  • Transport documents, goods, materials, and equipment between offices, sites, and external locations.
  • Ensure compliance with traffic regulations, safety standards, and company driving policies at all times.
Despatch & Delivery Responsibilities
  • Deliver and collect documents, letters, cheques, parcels, and invoices according to schedule.
  • Perform bank errands such as cheque deposits, cash payments, and submission of banking documents.
  • Handle government-related errands (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, local authorities).
  • Maintain proper documentation, including delivery logs, acknowledgement slips, and receipt filings.
Vehicle & Motorcycle Maintenance
  • Conduct daily inspections of the company vehicle/motorcycle (fuel, brakes, tyres, lights, cleanliness).
  • Ensure the vehicle/motorcycle is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy at all times.
  • Report mechanical issues, damages, or required servicing promptly to the Admin/HR department.
Administrative & Operational Support
  • Assist in general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and document preparation.
  • Support operational departments with loading/unloading small items or equipment when required.
  • Maintain records of mileage, fuel usage, tolls, and trip details for monthly reporting.
Professional Conduct & Confidentiality
  • Handle all documents, parcels, and materials with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Maintain courteous behaviour, proper grooming, and positive company representation at all times.
Ad-Hoc Duties
  • Assist with urgent deliveries, company events, office arrangements, and additional assignments assigned by supervisors, Admin, or HR.
Job Requirements
