Our client, a global power distribution company is looking to hire a Global Director of Quality to be based in Johor, Singapore or Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management & Leadership

  • Directed the development and continuous enhancement of a global QMS for data center power distribution products, ensuring alignment with international standards and customer specifications.
  • Managed end-to-end quality control and assurance processes across the entire product lifecycle, from raw materials to final delivery.
  • Spearheaded root cause analysis and resolution for critical quality incidents and customer complaints, implementing robust corrective and preventive actions.
  • Governed global supplier quality through rigorous audits, performance evaluations, and development initiatives.
  • Established customer complaint protocols and led major incident investigations to ensure satisfaction and protect brand integrity.
  • Built, developed, and led high-performing global quality teams through recruitment, training, and performance management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Quality Management, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years in quality management, including 3+ years in leadership within a manufacturing environment; power distribution experience highly valued.
  • Expert application of quality tools (SPC, FMEA, 8D, PDCA) with a proven record in QMS design and optimization.
  • Adept in crisis management, leading complex investigations, and resolving critical customer issues.
  • Fluent English for professional communication; additional languages a plus.
  • Strategic leader with strong decision-making, cross-cultural communication, and global team management skills.
