Development Manager - Retail Store Expansion

Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the end-to-end store opening plan, including store site selection and mall lease negotiation and achieving store opening launch targets in the responsible area.
  2. Collect market information and sales data from various countries and regions, as well as distribution information of competing brands (competitor mapping) in commercial districts to inform.
  3. Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with large and medium-sized shopping malls, responsible for negotiations and strategic cooperation for the entry of shopping malls nationwide.
  4. Optimize the store financial performance of the store after 3 months of operation by implementing cost-efficiency measures such as promote the reduction of operating costs and maximize the EBITDA of the store.
  5. Foster robust relationships with internal departments and key external stakeholders—including landlords—to secure favorable terms and build a foundation of collaborative partnership.
Requirements
  1. More than 5 years of experience in expanding new stores (shopping mall), at least 2 years of experience in expanding overseas chain stores, familiar with the development status of the fast-moving consumer goods (new retail) market.
  2. Possesses a well-established, nationwide network of contacts within the leasing departments of major market malls, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate.
  3. Experienced in store expansion and site selection, directly guiding and executing the company's growth initiatives to secure optimal market presence.
  4. A strategic negotiator and relationship-builder with sharp analytical skills.
  5. Independent and resilient, excelling in high-pressure environments and adaptable to frequent travel.
  6. Ideal candidates will be available to start on short notice.
