Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
    • Assist the General Manager in developing, implementing, and monitoring business strategies, corporate plans, and operational policies.
    • Translate strategic objectives into actionable construction and operational plans with measurable performance targets.
    • Represent the company in high-level meetings, negotiations, and strategic discussions with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Operational & Project Management
    • Oversee daily operations across construction projects and support functions to ensure efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost control.
    • Monitor operational and project performance, identify gaps or risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure full compliance with Malaysian regulations, PRC corporate requirements, contract conditions, and international construction standards.
  • Stakeholder, Client & Government Relations
    • Liaise with key stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, regulators, and strategic partners.
    • Support business development, tendering, and client relationship management, acting as the primary Mandarin-speaking liaison with Chinese investors, executives, and technical teams.
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Malaysian authorities and local partners, while integrating PRC management and operational practices.
    • Assist in leading and mentoring a diverse workforce, fostering effective collaboration between Malaysian and Chinese personnel.
    • Support the cultivation of a high-trust, inclusive organizational culture that aligns global corporate objectives with local construction and business practices.
    • Uphold and reinforce ethical leadership, strong governance, safety awareness, and a results-driven organizational culture in line with company policies and management directives.
