The Demand & Supply Planning Analyst will work with the DSP/IBP Lead to deliver accurate, data‑driven statistical forecasts for a large and complex product portfolio. This role will play a critical part in strengthening the demand and supply planning ecosystem by enhancing data quality, building robust forecasting models, and supporting the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle. The analyst will also prepare insightful management performance reports and analytics using Power BI and other digital tools, enabling strategic decision‑making and continuous improvement across the organization. Additionally, this role will lead selected cross‑functional improvement projects that elevate planning excellence and overall business performance.
Key Accountabilities
1. Strategic Planning & Metrics
- Establish, publish, and manage key demand and supply planning performance metrics and targets.
- Ensure planning processes are well‑documented, standardized, and consistently improved to support business growth and operational efficiency.
2. Forecasting & Data Management
- Maintain high data integrity across demand planning systems, including hierarchy management, historical data cleansing, demand sensing inputs, and forecast model parameter updates.
- Develop accurate statistical forecasts at product, customer, and category levels using analytical tools and data‑driven methodologies. (i.e SAP IBP)
3. Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Support
- Support and help drive the IBP cycle, including demand reviews, supply alignment, and integration with financial plans.
- Build IBP understanding and capability across functions by developing relevant training materials and supporting capability‑building activities.
4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with key functions (Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, etc.) to ensure planning alignment and timely resolution of demand or supply issues.
- Lead or support cross‑functional projects that enhance planning accuracy, operational agility, or process digitization.
- Champion improvements through automation, analytics, and digital tools to enhance forecast accuracy, planning efficiency, and responsiveness.
- Develop dashboards, insights, and analytics using Power BI or similar tools to support data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, IT, Supply Chain or a related field—or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 or more years’ experience in demand planning, supply planning, or production planning.
- Strong understanding of IBP processes, statistical forecasting, and advanced planning systems.
- Experience in data analytics, dashboard creation, and digital tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and drive process improvement.
- Project leadership experience is an added advantage. (e.g DMAIC project)
