The ideal candidate holds a Degree/Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in the Oil & Gas sector. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintaining records to ensure optimal operational performance. Strong skills in electrical systems and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Installation, service and maintenance of diesel engines and systems, ensuring their efficient operation across various applications.
• Rewiring and installing control panels and voltage regulators.
• Performing preventative maintenance, including checking for worn parts and leaks.
• Maintaining records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
• Develop and maintain diesel engines.
• Responsible for ensuring that diesel engines are operating at their optimal performance levels and for resolving any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree / Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the related field and in Oil & Gas experience would be added advantages.
• Have practical skill and understanding how to maintain, fix problem on the genset.
• Knowledge in reading schematic diagram and technical drawing.
• Familiarity with various type of genset; diesel, gas and hydro.
• Knowledge in genset design and practical understanding of the job.
• Knowledge in testing genset load capacity involve several steps.
• Knowledge to ensure compliance with environmental regulation.
• Strong understanding of any type of electrical equipment.
• Detail‑oriented and meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility.
