Agensi Pekerjaan Asia Recruit Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Debt Recovery Officer (Executive) to join our dynamic team in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. As a Debt Recovery Officer (Executive), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation by effectively managing and recovering overdue debts.

What you'll be doing

• Proactively follow up with delinquent customers to negotiate repayment plans and recover outstanding debts
• Analyse customer accounts and credit histories to develop tailored recovery strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the debt recovery process
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all debt recovery activities and negotiations
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the debt recovery function
• Provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of debt recovery efforts

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3-6 months' experience in a debt recovery or collections role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address complex debt recovery challenges
• Proficient in data analysis and report generation, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing debt recovery practices
