Job description
Overview

Deal Lead (Private Capital), you will be responsible for guiding issuers through their fundraising journey on Malaysia’s leading equity crowdfunding platform. Acting as the primary account manager and campaign strategist, you will lead deals from initiation to completion — providing an end-to-end experience in managing relationships between the platform, investors and issuers seeking funding, to ultimately drive growth of successful campaigns.

Why pitchIN?

You will be taking charge of a major revenue driver for a market leader and pioneer of alternative financing in Malaysia.

We are building a strong deal team to oversee client relationships for equity crowdfunding (ECF) to ensure successful campaign management alongside customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for issuers raising capital. This includes building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with issuers to maintain customer satisfaction as well as provide ongoing support and guidance to companies throughout their fundraising journey. We look for account managers that are able to communicate effectively with clients, understand their needs and address concerns to ensure a successful campaign.
  • Provide required guidance and support for issuers in terms of market insights, trends and developments as well as campaign strategies and deal structures. This will require you to have the interest and expertise in the equity crowdfunding space in order to provide a great campaign management experience and strengthen pitchIN’s positioning as the preferred choice of trusted fundraising partner.
  • Being accountable for the successful progression of all deals from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate must be highly collaborative, as they will work closely with analysts, legal teams, and other relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to take charge and engage with various parties to address their needs effectively.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in deal/investment management, investor relations or account management; preferably in the finance/investment, private market or crowdfunding space.
  • Familiarity with equity crowdfunding platforms and the private market space is highly beneficial.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining long term relationships with clients.
  • Excellent project management skills to handle multiple campaigns, deadlines and clients efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations and navigate around various stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Detail oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of the equity crowdfunding regulations and compliance requirements (preferred but not required).
