Job summary

A leading technology solutions company in Johor is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily maintenance of electromechanical systems within its data center. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in maintenance management, specifically within large-scale facilities. They will be responsible for developing maintenance plans, managing internal staff and vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Chinese is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of maintenance and management experience, preferably in data centers.
• Proficient in troubleshooting for critical systems such as HVAC and power supply.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the daily maintenance and upkeep of electromechanical systems (including power supply and distribution, HVAC, fire protection, water supply and drainage, etc.) within the data centre campus/building.
2. Develop annual and monthly maintenance plans, and ensure their timely execution.
3. Manage internal maintenance staff and outsourced maintenance vendors, and supervise the quality of on-site work.
4. Handle various facility malfunctions, organize emergency repairs, and follow up on rectification actions.
5. Establish equipment inventory and maintenance records to ensure the completeness and traceability of documentation.
6. Participate in equipment renovation and upgrade projects, and provide suggestions for maintenance optimization.
7. Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
8. Coordinate with relevant departments such as operations, projects, and clients to support daily maintenance needs.

Requirements

1. Educational Requirements: Diploma or above in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or other relevant majors.
2. Work Experience: At least 3 years of maintenance and management experience in data centers or large-scale facilities, with data centre campus level management experience is preferred.
3. Professional Competence: Proficient in maintenance processes and common troubleshooting methods for power supply and distribution, HVAC, fire protection, water supply and drainage systems, etc.
4. Management Skills: Possess experience in team management or outsourced maintenance team management, able to independently arrange and supervise maintenance work.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of collaborating with operations, clients, projects, and other relevant parties.
6. Language Proficiency: Excellent English communication skills, proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
7. Safety Awareness: Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness, familiar with relevant regulations and safe operating procedures.
8. Additional Advantages: Holders of relevant industry certifications (e.g., Electrician License, HVAC Maintenance Certificate, CDCP, etc.) are preferred.
