Data Center Campus Security Engineer (EHS / Fire Safety)

Global Development Technology Sdn.Bhd. – Johor

Monitor the SOC platform, respond to security alarms, execute disposal procedures, and ensure closed-loop incident handling.

Maintain the physical security of the IDC site and enforce security protocols.

Issue, track, review, and close SOC security task work orders in a timely manner.

Ensure compliance of personnel and asset access in accordance with security policies.

Conduct surveillance monitoring via SOC display screens.

Manage and coordinate the daily assignments of security guards.

Process and issue IDC personnel access permissions as required.

Support the implementation and tracking of security performance indicators.

Respond to and handle IDC security incidents from occurrence to resolution, ensuring full closure.

Assist in the promotion and execution of security-related projects.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in safety-related roles, preferably within critical environments.

At least 5 years of overall professional experience in security or facility operations.

Demonstrated ability in security management, project promotion, cross-team communication, and personnel coordination.

Understanding of data center operations and basic network architecture principles.

Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and implement security improvements effectively.
