Job description

The role aims to be recognized as a trusted advisor to the Finance team and hotel business partners in the Malaysia market. This position supports the Finance Lead in retaining and developing best‑class Finance professionals and contributes to building a strong Finance team. The role ensures a solid internal control and compliance environment aligned with Malaysian regulatory requirements, company policies, and hotel operating standards. It also supports the hotel(s) in driving profitability and implementing Finance innovations and projects relevant to the Malaysia region.

What will I be doing?

The Credit Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the hotel’s Accounts Receivable / Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) function, covering Credit, Billing, and Collections, in line with Malaysian business practices and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SST requirements, local invoicing standards, credit control norms).

You will be responsible for the following key duties:

Support the Finance Leader in all areas required to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the Finance Department.

Ensure effective management of credit facilities, billing, and collections, in full compliance with:

  • Company credit policy
  • Malaysian regulatory requirements (including SST rules, invoicing timelines, documentation standards)
  • Contractual obligations with customers and corporate accounts

Act as a strong business partner to the hotel’s Finance team and Hotel Management, and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Commercial, Operations, Corporate Clients, Local Vendors, and Business Partners.

Support the Finance Lead in building a high‑performing Finance team, including participation in Malaysia‑based Finance development programs, internal training, compliance refreshers, and Hilton learning pathways (or equivalent relevant programs).

Additional Preferences
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Knowledge of Tower operations to include all aspects
