Job description

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at OKA Concrete Industries Sdn Bhd in Ipoh, Perak. This full-time role is responsible for managing our credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payment from our business customers.

Duty and Responsibility

• Reviewing and monitoring customer accounts and credit risks analysis
• Assessing new customer's financial background
• Legal & Compliance knowledge
• Collaborating with the sales team to proactively manage customer credit limits and terms
• Collection escalation process and tracking sheets
• Implementing and improving credit control policies and procedures
• Liaising with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Requirement

• Experience as a credit controller or ex-bank loan employee, preferably within the banking loan services industry
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to identify credit risks and develop effective credit management strategies
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications to manage financial data
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
