Job summary

A leading fintech firm in Petaling, Malaysia, is seeking a Credit Administration Officer to oversee credit processes and documentation. This role involves supporting daily operations and collaborating with teams across the organization. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in financial institutions and strong coordination skills. Proficiency in Excel and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Salary offered ranges from RM3,500 to RM6,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of working experience in a bank or financial institution, ideally as a Management Trainee, Credit Admin / Operations Executive, or Back-office/Middle-office Officer.
  • Familiar with banking systems, credit processing, or documentation flow.
  • Strong discipline and time management.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations for credit and administrative processes within the middle office.
  • Handle documentation, data verification, and processing of financing and investment transactions.
  • Liaise with internal teams (compliance, risk, finance, IT) and external banking partners to ensure smooth transaction flow.
  • Manage system inputs, data reconciliation, and reporting functions.
  • Monitor transaction pipelines and assist in credit file preparation and administrative reviews.
  • Maintain accurate filing, document control, and audit trails for all operational processes.
  • Support system improvement and operational SOP updates to enhance workflow efficiency.

As a Credit Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s operations, ensuring smooth credit processing, and maintaining accurate documentation. This position is ideal for candidates with prior experience as Management Trainees in banks or in financial institutions, particularly in operations, credit administration, or middle/back-office functions. The role suits individuals with strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of working experience in a bank or financial institution, ideally as:
    • Management Trainee
    • Credit Admin / Operations Executive
    • Back-office or Middle-office Officer
  • Familiar with banking systems, credit processing, or documentation flow.
  • Good coordination skills — able to communicate effectively and work with multiple departments to complete assigned tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail, discipline, and time management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry systems.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage).

Salary offered: RM3,500 to RM6,00 depending on experience
