Job summary

A creative event management company in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Designer to lead the creative direction for events. Overview

To take charge as the creative lead on incoming event opportunities, including the development of creative concepts from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Produce stunning concepts, art direction, 3D renderings and visualisations of event environments, structural build-ups and installation.
• Work closely with clients, internal team and external related professionals from the design stage to production.
• Study the client's brand guide and create visuals and designs per the brand guide.
• Accompany the events team from the preliminary brief by the client and site visit, to generating creative ideas and concepts, then producing relevant 3D designs and visuals with detailed measurements for the fabrication team to execute the build-up.
• Plan and design event interiors according to the creative direction approved by the client.
• Efficiently and pragmatically execute briefs and designs within the scope of our service on time.
• Brainstorm and work with teammates to deliver concepts (mood boards, mockup designs, digital designs, etc.) and turn ideas into reality.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally for projects.

Job Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, 3D Designer, Art Director, Creative Director or similar roles.
• Proven record of producing high-level designs and technical drawings.
• Proficient in 3Ds Max, Chaos V-Ray, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Cloud, or equivalent.
• Comfortable with irregular work hours, including weekends and public holidays, to achieve deadlines.
• Able to communicate fluently in English.
• Team player and strives to go Above & Beyond constantly.
• Attention to visual details, creativity and have a good eye for design.
• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to tight deadlines.
• This role requires you to travel domestically and internationally for projects.
