The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the organization's internal and external communications strategies. This role will assist in managing public relations, brand reputation, employee communications, media relations, and corporate events. The Manager will work closely with key stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and maintain consistent messaging across all communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, execution, and monitoring of corporate communications strategies to enhance the company’s brand image, reputation, and visibility.
- Coordinate with external PR, creative and media agency to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of company news.
- Monitor media coverage and sentiment to gauge effectiveness of PR efforts.
- Lead the creation of internal communications initiatives, including monthly newsletters, company-wide announcements, and internal events.
- Draft and distribute communications to employees to maintain transparency and foster engagement.
- Drive in building and maintaining an inclusive and engaging corporate culture through communication initiatives.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all external and internal communication materials.
- Assist Corporate Communication Director in creation and refinement of key messaging and content that reflect the company’s values and strategic direction.
- Write, edit, and proofread content for various communication channels, including the company website, social media, newsletters, presentations, and reports.
- Ensure all written content is aligned with the company’s tone, style, and messaging guidelines.
- Lead in the planning and coordination of corporate or media events; act as a representative from Corporate Communications department for any events involving external or internal stakeholders; coordinate with relevant restaurants, visit identified event venues to determine suitability and work together with all parties involved.
- Manage social media agency to ensure continuous update of content on social media platforms; monitor social media channels and track key metrics to assess sentiment, engagement and effectiveness of communication efforts; report potential risk on social media to superior and recommend next action.
- Assist in tracking the effectiveness of communication strategies through regular reporting and analytics; provide recommendations for improving communications based on data insights.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience: minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; Excellent editing and proofreading abilities; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Knowledge of social media platforms and digital communication strategies; Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Preferred Skills: On-ground experience in event management.
- Personal Attributes: Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams; Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information; Adaptability to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
Working Conditions
Full-time position, with occasional extended hours depending on project deadlines and events. Some travel may be required for media engagements or corporate events.
