Job summary

A legal firm is seeking an experienced individual to manage conveyancing operations in their Klang branch. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 15 years of experience in conveyancing and demonstrate leadership capabilities. Responsibilities include handling Sale & Purchase Agreements, overseeing daily operations, and liaising with clients and various stakeholders. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required. The position is exclusive to Malaysian citizens.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–15 years of experience in conveyancing, particularly in SPA work.
  • Strong command of conveyancing documentation and ability to handle files independently.
  • Proven leadership experience, capable of supervising a team and managing deadlines.

Our client is an established legal firm with a strong presence in conveyancing, banking and real estate law. With a growing practice, the firm is seeking a capable and experienced individual to manage conveyancing operations at their Klang branch.

Responsibilities
  • Independently handle Sale & Purchase Agreements (SPA) from A to Z, including sub‑sale and developer projects.
  • Oversee and lead the conveyancing departments daily operations and administrative staff.
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients, purchasers, vendors, developers, banks and government authorities.
  • Manage processes related to property transfers, redemption, discharge, stamping and CKHT.
  • Ensure timely submission of legal documents to relevant parties including LHDN, land offices and financial institutions.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to junior staff and ensure adherence to firm procedures.
  • Liaise and collaborate with other team leaders or partners within the firm to ensure seamless case progression.
  • Maintain proper records of transactions, timelines and compliance with statutory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5‑15 years of experience in conveyancing, particularly in SPA work.
  • Strong command of conveyancing documentation and ability to handle files independently.
  • Proven leadership experience, capable of supervising a team and managing deadlines.
  • Familiarity with redemption/discharge processes, LHDN stamping and CKHT matters.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (Mandarin is an advantage but not required).
