A construction company based in Malaysia seeks a Contract Manager to oversee contract claims and liaise with consultants and site personnel. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years of related experience. Key skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCad, and strong management abilities. The role entails site measurements, approvals for variations, and ensuring project expenditures align with budgets.
Main Claim - Liaison with QS Consultant, Architect on payment, VO, final certificate, updating claim and payment summary.
Sub-Contractor Claim - To carry out site valuation and site measurement, prepare VO certification to sub-contractor with analysis of rate and update sub-contractor claim, debit note, back charge and payment summary before finalising.
Liaise with site team, consultants, and clients for approval of variations.
Liaison and coordinate with site personnel on matters pertaining to sub-contractor's claim disputes etc and to provide information on contractual matters.
Assist Contract Manager on monitoring and recording project cost expenditures against the budgets.
Taking off quantities.
To carry out any other ad-hoc task assigned by immediate superior.
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying.
At least 5 year(s) working experience of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, AutoCad.
Beginner Level in Cubicost Software.
Able to perform multitasking, good management skills with a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and discipline.
Possess a positive attitude, self-motivated, team player, able to work independently, meticulous, and good communication and analytical skills.
