Job description
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire construction process, from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, considering factors such as manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders to review project plans, designs, and specifications, and provide input on constructability, feasibility, and potential issues.
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings, including pre-construction meetings, progress meetings, and coordination meetings, to ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Monitor and track project progress, costs, and timelines, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Manage and resolve construction issues, conflicts, and changes, and ensure proper documentation and communication of such matters to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, permits, and inspections.
  • Foster a culture of safety on construction sites, promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement process improvements, cost-saving measures, and value engineering opportunities.
  • Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years’ work experience in the construction industry with direct involvement in managing projects (Especially involving precast work at site).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • High level of integrity drives and result oriented.

Working location :

Note: 5.5 days work week

This job is offering a 1 year contract basis.
