Commissioning Manager (Data Centres)

A collaboration with a Global Hyperscale Developer in Malaysia, seeking a Commissioning Manager (CxM) to own the commissioning lifecycle for sophisticated facilities.

This role is hands‑on: you will bridge design, construction, and operations to ensure high‑performance infrastructure is flawless before launch.

The Mission

• Lead the commissioning (Cx) process from equipment start‑up through to final handover.
• Direct CxA consultants and vendors, ensuring global standards are met on the ground in JB.
• Review and approve L4 and L5 test scripts to ensure quality is met.
• Coordinate with Long Lead Equipment (LLE) vendors to ensure seamless procurement and installation.
• Partner with the Operations team to ensure a flawless “day one” experience for the customer.

Who You Are

• Proven track record in Data Centre or Mission Critical commissioning.
• Expertise in Integrated System Testing (IST) with knowledge of successful Level 5 outcomes.
• Ability to spot potential failures in drawings or test scripts before they occur.
• Understanding of the Johor/Malaysia landscape and ability to manage local contractors and international consultants.
