Role Overview

As a Programming & Mathematics Tutor at Algonova, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that introduce children to programming and mathematical concepts in a fun, interactive, and structured way. You will support students’ learning progress through well-prepared lesson plans, continuous assessment, and clear communication with parents and the academic team, while fostering a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that make programming and mathematics fun and easy for children.
• Help students build strong foundational skills in programming and logical/mathematical thinking.
• Support students’ academic growth by tracking progress and providing clear feedback to parents and the academic team.
• Maintain consistent teaching quality across all classes.
• Create a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence in students.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
• Provide interactive learning activities and meaningful assessments to students.
• Prepare student grade reports and progress evaluations.
• Participate in both academic and non-academic activities organized by the branch office.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality instruction and contribute to the overall learning experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in a relevant field (Education or Programming).
• At least 1 year of teaching experience or experience in a similar role.
• Teaching Certification (PPG) and/or Programming Certification is a plus.
• Strong communication, writing, and creative skills.
• Passionate and dedicated to working with children.
• Able to teach one or more of the following subjects: Scratch, Python, Graphic Design, or Game Development.
• Proficient in Bahasa Melayu and able to communicate in English.
• Highly detail-oriented, responsive, and able to work independently.
