The COO will lead the company’s operational execution, ensuring reliable software delivery, strong coordination across internal and outsourced teams, and readiness for external client work. This role is execution-focused, responsible for professionalizing operations as the company scales, while providing light governance oversight over OTC crypto operations.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. (Primary) Software & Delivery Operations
- Own day-to-day operations for the company.
- Lead delivery for internal software projects and external client projects.
- Professionalize software delivery processes as the company moves into client-facing work.
- Oversee the full delivery lifecycle of client onboarding, resource planning, project execution and quality control, issue escalation and resolution, invoicing and billing accuracy.
- Ensure alignment, accountability, and performance across internal and outsourced teams.
- Act as the operational lead for third-party client requests.
- Support light commercial activities including project scoping and feasibility, delivery planning and client satisfaction and retention.
- Track and improve operational metrics such as delivery throughput, cost control, and client outcomes.
- 2. (Secondary) OTC Crypto Operations
- Provide governance and operational oversight for OTC crypto activities.
- Support operational readiness during licensing and regulatory preparation.
- Coordinate with trustees and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with the CTO and CPO to align technology, product, and operations.
- Partially oversee outsourced vendors and partners.
- Drive operational discipline in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
Skills & Experiences
- Senior operations leader from a software house or digital product company.
- Strong background in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), project and program management, vendor and outsourced team management, client-facing software delivery.
- Experience scaling operations beyond internal-only projects.
- Strong technical understanding of software development from early-stage build.
- Tech-savvy across modern software, with working knowledge of: Blockchain / crypto / stablecoin concepts, AI and digital platforms.
- Able to operate as a hands-on operations leader without being a developer.
- Highly organized, execution-driven, and dependable.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage environments.
- Strong stakeholder and client communication skills.
