A dynamic construction solutions provider is seeking a finance leader to oversee IPO readiness and manage comprehensive financial functions. You will lead financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while developing strategies to support business growth. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with at least 10-15 years of experience and relevant professional qualifications. The role involves forming robust financial controls and internal governance in a hybrid working environment, located in Puncak Alam, Selangor.
We are representing our client a fast-growing group involved in equipment rental and integrated solutions for the construction and industrial sectors. With strong market presence and an upcoming IPO on the ACE Market, the company is expanding rapidly and strengthening its leadership team to support its next phase of growth.
Work Location: Puncak Alam, Selangor
Working Hours: Mon‑Fr (8:30am‑5:30pm) – Hybrid Working Arrangement
IPO Readiness & Capital Market Responsibilities
Lead and manage all financial aspects of the company’s IPO preparation for listing on the ACE Market.
Work closely with Investment Bankers, Auditors, Company Secretary, Due Diligence Working Group (DDWG) and regulators.
Ensure timely submission of IPO‑related documentation, financial statements, projections, and compliance requirements.
Strengthen internal controls and corporate governance in line with Bursa and SC standards.
Financial Leadership & Strategic Management
Oversee the full spectrum of finance functions including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, treasury, and financial risk management.
Develop strategies to support business growth, capital planning, cost optimization, and profitability improvement.
Provide financial insights to the CEO and Board to guide decision‑making and long‑term planning.
Lead the enhancement of financial processes, ERP/financial systems, and internal controls as the company scales.
Business & Operational Finance
Drive financial modelling, investment analysis, business case evaluation, and scenario planning.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, credit control, and capital expenditure.
Establish performance measurement systems (KPIs, dashboards) for better management visibility.
Partner with operations to optimize rental asset utilisation and ROI on fleet investments.
Ensure strong compliance with accounting standards (MFRS), tax regulations, and financial policies.
Implement robust risk‑management frameworks including business, financial, credit, and operational risks.
Handle liaison with tax agents, bankers, and external auditors.
Leadership & People Development
Lead, mentor, and strengthen the Finance team to support the company’s growth and upcoming public‑listed environment.
Foster a high‑performance, accountable, and governance‑driven culture across the finance function.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent with minimum 10-15 years of related working experience.
Professional qualification (MIA, CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, MICPA) is required.
Strong financial acumen with excellent strategic thinking and decision‑making capability.
Hands‑on leadership with the ability to develop teams and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
Strong understanding of risk management, treasury, internal controls, taxation, and corporate governance.
