Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the ELITE TRANSFORM TEAM as a Captain Cafe. As a Captain Cafe, you will play a crucial role in managing the overall operations and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our customers at our cafe in Kulai Johor. This is a full-time position that will see you leading a team of waiters and overseeing all front-of-house activities.

What you'll be doing

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth, efficient dining experience for all customers
• Manage and supervise the waiting staff team, including scheduling, training and performance management
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including stock management, cash handling and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
• Handle customer queries, complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve cafe operations and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a cafe or restaurant captain, with a track record of leading and motivating a team of waiting staff
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm, friendly and attentive dining experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both customers and the kitchen team
• Proficient in cash handling, inventory management and adhering to health and safety regulations
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
