Business Development Manager / Senior Executive – Spa Business

We are seeking a driven and experienced professional to lead the development and expansion of our spa business in Malaysia. This role will be responsible for driving market entry and growth through new client acquisition, sales expansion, and strategic account management. In addition to strengthening the brand’s presence across hotel spas, luxury day spas, and destination spas, this position will also support the evaluation and potential future expansion into the retail market, in alignment with overall brand positioning and long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new client development, with a strong focus on hotel spas, luxury day spas, and destination spas
  • Lead sales expansion of newly acquired clients, including upselling, cross‑selling, and account growth initiatives
  • Provide professional support to prospective and existing spa partners, including product knowledge sharing, treatment guidance, and coordination of training sessions
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to support strategic planning and decision‑making
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the company’s spa and potential retail business as assigned
Requirements
  • Proven experience in cosmetic sales, preferably within the spa or professional beauty industry
  • Strong understanding of spa operations, treatments, and professional skincare products; therapist background is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and manage field sales activities effectively
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel
  • Candidates with strong proven experience or qualification will be considered as Business Development Manager
  • Candidates with less experience or qualification will be considered as Senior Business Development Executive
