Job summary

Manage the end-to-end RFQ process by evaluating client requirements, preparing and submitting competitive quotations, following up strategically, and leveraging market insights to convert opportunities into profitable business wins.

Lead face-to-face engagements with prospective and existing clients, conducting detailed technocommercial discussions to understand project requirements, present tailored solutions, and position the company as a strategic partner. These meetings aim to build long-term client relationships, uncover new business opportunities, and support the overall sales and growth strategy within the region.

Develop and manage strategic customer relationships through proactive key account management, engaging from initial project discussions through to final data delivery. Act as the primary point of contact to ensure alignment with client objectives, drive repeat business, and foster long-term partnerships that support sustained revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Identify and assess new business opportunities in unconventional or emerging market segments across multiple regions by analyzing industry trends, customer challenges, and unmet needs. Develop strategic approaches to penetrate these markets, propose tailored solutions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support entry and long‑term growth in non‑traditional application areas.

Prepare and respond to technical and commercial inquiries, including the development of compelling proposals and timely responses to client requests. Work alongside regional teams to resolve customer concerns efficiently and ensure ongoing satisfaction.

Proactively engage with key decision‑makers at the corporate level, both nationally and internationally, to promote long‑term partnerships.

Continuously monitor competitor products, pricing models, marketing campaigns, and sales strategies to gain actionable market intelligence. Analyze competitive trends to identify threats and opportunities, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective counter‑strategies that enhance the company’s value proposition and strengthen market positioning.

Collaborate closely with regional leadership during the annual budgeting and planning cycle to align business development strategies with overall corporate objectives. Contribute market insights, sales forecasts, and growth projections to support informed decision‑making and ensure BD initiatives are financially and strategically aligned.

Demonstrates the ability to prepare and present comprehensive weekly reports that include detailed sales figures, individual and team activity metrics, current pipeline status, deal progression, and forecasts.

Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in oil & gas industry
Skills and Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; as well as the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks along with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong background in both technical sales and oilfield technologies.
