A leading business development firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Business Development Executive to support sales and marketing initiatives. The candidate will conduct market research, identify potential clients, and engage in negotiations to secure contracts. A degree in Marketing or Business Administration is required, along with at least five years of relevant experience. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with MS Office are essential. This role offers a dynamic environment to drive business growth.
To support the Director of Business Development in developing and conducting sales and marketing plans and actions for the company.
To conduct relevant market research that leads to development of business pipelines.
To identify and meet potential customers and set up site surveys that leads to proposal presentations.
To secure contracts thru effective engagement and negotiations with potential clients.
To prepare and present sales plans and reports on a regular basis.
To work with relevant department staff for effective handover of secured contracts.
To develop and update marketing media required for market awareness of the company’s products and services.
Any other duties that the Director of Business Development may delegate from time to time.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualification of a degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent or with minimum 5 years experience in Business Development/ Marketing.
Knowledge of principles and methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and process.
Must be familiar with Windows and MS Office.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to be politely persistent.
