Business Development Engineer

Location: Shah Alam, 10, MY

Work Arrangement: Onsite

OPW also creates and manufactures touch‑free and soft-touch vehicle wash systems, entry systems and wash chemicals.   • Develop and implement effective business strategies to expand market presence and customer base within assigned regions.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage new business leads, partners, and key accounts in the oil & gas downstream and fuel‑handling sectors.
  • Engage with clients, consultants, and government agencies to understand project requirements and position OPW’s solutions effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and quotations in collaboration with the engineering and product teams.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers and vendors to achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate prequalification, tender documentation, and proposal submissions to ensure compliance with client and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and client data using CRM tools.
  • Provide technical consultation and support to clients, including product demonstrations and after-sales coordination.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, webinars, and industry events to promote OPW’s products and strengthen relationships.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal departments to ensure timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns targeting the petroleum and industrial markets.
