UMM' is seeking a talented Business Development cum Operation Manager to join our team in Kulim, Kedah. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in driving the strategic growth and operational efficiency of our business. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and effective delivery of our services.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement robust business development strategies to identify, pursue and secure new clients and revenue streams
• Manage and oversee all operational activities to deliver high-quality services and ensure optimal resource utilisation
• Monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement to drive operational excellence
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to enhance internal processes and procedures
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business and provide recommendations for growth
• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions and client meetings
• Mentor and develop a team of professionals to build a high-performing, motivated workforce

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in a similar business development or operations management role, preferably within the human resources or recruitment industry
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding client portfolios
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills to drive operational efficiency
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities to lead and inspire a team
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Proficient in the use of relevant business software and data analysis tools
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Management or a related field is preferred
