We aim to retain the best talent in the industry by providing a conducive working environment and market‑leading benefits. We respect our employees' autonomy and prioritise results over micromanagement, promoting a culture of trust and responsibility. We strongly advocate for a healthy work‑life balance and place utmost importance on employee well‑being. Our focus lies in long‑term, project‑based initiatives, akin to product development lifecycles.

Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our client‑facing operations and internal IT systems to deliver exceptional service delivery. This position requires a unique blend of understanding client needs, business process optimisation, and technical prowess to ensure that our IT solutions not only meet but exceed client expectations. You will act as the linchpin between our clients' business operations and technology divisions, analysing business requirements, designing client‑centric solutions, and implementing systems that enhance efficiency, productivity, and client satisfaction.

This position reports to the Project Lead and requires full on‑site presence in the office; hybrid or remote arrangements are not available.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business units, clients, integration partners, and IT teams to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into clear, structured documentation.
  • Identify gaps in business processes, propose improvements, and ensure solutions align with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of change requests—from requirement scoping, solution review, and development support through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment.
  • Plan, facilitate, and manage technical workshops and UAT sessions with external clients, ensuring clear communication, smooth execution, and alignment on objectives, scope, and outcomes.
  • Provide production support by investigating and resolving issues raised by stakeholders, ensuring system stability and minimal disruptions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirement Specifications (BRS), System Requirement Documents (SRD), Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), process flows, and related artefacts.
  • Work closely with Software Engineering teams to clarify requirements, validate technical approaches, and recommend alternative solutions where necessary.
  • Participate in project ceremonies, including sprint planning, change control boards, backlog grooming, and project retrospectives.
  • Create conceptual designs and prototypes using Figma to facilitate requirement clarification and stakeholder alignment.
Skills & experience required
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or a similar IT‑related role.
  • Strong experience in preparing technical and functional documentation (e.g., process flows, swimlane diagrams, functional specifications, user guides).
  • Solid understanding of IT concepts, including web and mobile applications, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, integrations, and middleware.
  • Experience with Figma or other prototyping tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a collaborative, solutions‑driven attitude.
  • Strong command of English and Malay, with excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Professional and composed when dealing with challenging stakeholders or high‑pressure situations.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to manage complex problems and drive outcomes independently.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for stakeholder engagement when required.
  • Willing to support late‑night system deployments when necessary.
  • Able to provide weekend support during critical incidents or production issues, including coordinating escalation to technical teams.
  • Prior exposure to the automobile, motor vehicle, car insurance and/or foreign worker insurance industries is an added advantage.

We offer attractive salaries and year‑end bonuses, medical insurance, outpatient coverage for your spouse and children, dental and optical, flexi benefits, phone allowance, parking/transportation allowance, a fun and supportive environment, fruit juice and small meals to keep you energised. The company believes in open & honest communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
