Job summary

A leading technology consultancy in Malaysia is looking for an experienced Business Analyst. This role entails gathering customer requirements, designing functional details, and providing support throughout the testing phases. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the insurance or banking sector. Strong analytical skills and good command of English required. Training will be provided on the specific product.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent position.
• Experience in Insurance Industry, Mobile Banking, or Rewards System preferred.
• Good command of English and knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
• Must be analytical and a problem-solver.

• Perform the requirements gathering with customer.
• Perform analysis on customer requirements.
• Design and document the functional details.
• Provide consultancy on the system product. Training will be provided by Product Team to understand the reward system product.
• Perform configuration of the system based on input of functional details and business requirements.
• Develop the test scenarios and test scripts.
• Carry out the testing including the mobile application, web application and administration portal testing.
• Supporting the customer during the testing.
• Conduct the training to the customer.
• Perform the system functional maintenance support.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years working experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent position.
• Working Experience in Insurance Industry or Mobile Banking/Internet Banking/Rewards System/Loyalty System/Marketplace would be an added advantage.
• Good command of English, ability to converse in Mandarin will be a plus point.
• Good interpersonal skills, a team player and able to work independently.
• Must be analytical and a problem-solver.
• Willing to travel and be based overseas if needed.
