Job description

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security
• Troubleshooting and repairing any issues that arise with building equipment and infrastructure
• Performing general handyman duties such as painting, carpentry, and basic repairs
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety protocols
• Collaborating with the facilities management team to identify and implement improvements to building systems and procedures
• Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance

What we're looking for

• Relevant technical qualification or trade certification in building maintenance, engineering, or a similar field
• 2-3 years' experience as a building technician or in a similar role, preferably in the real estate or facilities management industry
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues
• Good working knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues, contractors, and building occupants
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
