Responsibilities
Brew Crew
- Be a world‑class Barista (and Tearista) serving customers, sharing best specialty coffee & tea.
- Guide customers through their coffee & tea experience from beginning to end, providing exceptional service.
- Serve a full range of products from famous beverages to delicious food and merchandise.
- Create meaningful moments – share knowledge, heritage, and sustainability practices with customers.
- Handle cash transactions honestly, efficiently, and accurately.
- Care about the safety & health of Brew Crew and customers.
- Take pride in the appearance of the café, maintaining a clean and organized environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Cafe Supervisor
- Maintain a profitable, reputable café – handles cash, assists in supervision, supports promo planning, and maintains friendly service standards.
- Respond proactively to resolve customer service situations; politely answer telephone and customer questions.
- Use and prepare drinks and food items safely; sell and serve baked goods and miscellaneous food items.
- Receive and call back orders verbally in a friendly manner.
- Maintain efficient sales targets and surpass customer expectations.
- Complete daily reports, inform management of operational inconsistencies, and maintain acceptable inventory levels.
- Order supplies when needed; perform opening and closing duties; report employee accidents and safety hazards.
- Restock shelves, clean bar area, floor, grinders, take out trash, and maintain a clean environment.
- Handle bank deposits and manage cash accurately.
- Assist in training new employees, delegate duties, motivate crew, lead by example, schedule breaks, and perpetuate company philosophy.
- Assist managers in educating all Brew Crews on products and services; maintain high quality standards; enforce SOPs.
- Follow store presentation guidelines – music, table, floor, merchandising; keep windows clear and clean.
