A boutique store in Malaysia, Selangor, is seeking a friendly and professional individual to assist customers, provide product information, and maintain boutique organization. Responsibilities include operating the POS system, managing stock levels, and assisting with fitting. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Provide product information and styling advice when needed
Assist customers with fitting, selection, and purchases
Operate the cash register/POS system and handle payments accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the boutique
Arrange and replenish merchandise displays
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory counting
Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges according to store policy
Support promotional activities and special events
Follow store policies, procedures, and security guidelines
Inspect incoming and outgoing merchandise for quality, defects, and compliance with company standards
Ensure products meet brand presentation and packaging requirements
Maintain accurate QC records and inspection reports
Support inventory and stock checks as required
High school diploma or equivalent (fashion/textile-related background is a plus)
Basic knowledge of garment quality, fabrics, and finishing standards
Attention to detail and strong observation skills
Ability to follow inspection checklists and procedures
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic record-keeping or data entry skills
Ability to stand for long periods and handle garments carefully
Familiarity with quality standards and defect identification
Time management and organizational skills
May involve standing, bending, and handling clothing or accessories
