Job summary

A leading construction company in Johor Bahru is seeking a BIM Modeler to develop accurate 3D BIM models in accordance with construction drawings. Qualifications

BIM Modeler (Architectural/Structural/M&E)

Develop accurate 3D BIM models in accordance with approved construction drawings. Update, maintain, and manage BIM models using Autodesk Revit (Architectural/ Structure/ MEP). Produce shop drawings directly from Revit models and, where required, with support from AutoCAD. Identify discrepancies, and document issues for RFI within BIM models and 2D drawings. Ensure all BIM outputs comply with project specifications, company standards, and construction methodologies. Support site and construction teams by providing updated 3D models and 2D drawings/details as required.

• Update, maintain, and manage BIM models using Autodesk Revit (Architectural/Structural/MEP).

• Ensure all BIM outputs comply with project specifications, company standards, and construction methodologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a BIM Modeler in building or construction projects. Fresh graduates with strong software skills are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in one or more of the following software tools:
• Revit Structure
• Revit MEP
• Prior experience in the construction or building industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong interest and passion for BIM and construction productivity improvement.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• IT-savvy with the ability to learn new software, tools, and workflows efficiently.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Hands-on experience working on active construction projects will be an added advantage.
