The candidate will drive sales and build relationships with clients while collaborating with local teams to enhance market penetration. This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills. A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 to 10+ years of experience in Cyber Security Services Selling.
  • 5 years of IT selling experience, ideally in the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Sales and/or technical certifications preferred, especially Microsoft Certifications.

Job Description – Business Development Manager

Team: Presales/Sales

Designation: Business Development Manager – Cyber Security

Job Role: Customer-facing role specializing in Cyber Security Services such as M365 and Azure Sales to the enterprise/SME market – in collaboration with local sales and business development teams

Experience: Minimum 7 to 10+ years of Cyber Security Services Selling experience

Shifts: Day Shifts. However, the resource may need to work Flexible Hours to provide extended support & be available on call when required.

Essential Technical Skills
  • Drive assigned Cyber Security Services Sales and Gross Profit contribution on an allocated client portfolio within the enterprise technologies ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with all local Sales Teams to increase sales and market penetration into the allocated portfolio of clients delivering best-in-class customer experience.
  • Manage the Cyber Security Services Sales pipeline working closely with customers.
  • Assist Customer sales teams on partnership strategy, building “trusted advisor” relationships with key client decision makers, to drive adoption of cyber security services and solutions.
  • Provide strong vision and a deep understanding of sales strategy and go-to-market to fit organization’s growth and profit expectations within the allocated portfolio of clients.
  • Maintain a high-level of competitive product, licensing and pricing knowledge of software publishers.
  • Ability to complete OEM / publisher sales and technical certifications.
  • Provide onsite customer presales support and attend vendor events when required.
  • Interact closely with the Organization’s Technology Services Delivery Team to ensure they are up to date with important subject matter.
  • Develop business and marketing plans and strategically execute against the plan within the timeframe committed.
  • Develop and maintain publisher relationships in an effort to identify new business opportunities and sales engagements.
  • Well known for cloud migrations. Moving into security as a service Key role for expanding into the new domain.
  • Moved from hands on technical experience in cybersecurity and moved into sales.
  • Experience in both security product company as well as system integrator ideally and sell into existing clients
Non-Technical Skills
  • Excellent Communication skill & the ability to interact with various teams and customers.
  • Possess a good understanding on Service Operations and Delivery
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies and strategic directions Strong IT Industry business acumen
  • 5 years IT selling experience, ideally in the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure and Office365 (M365).
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented.
  • Ability to achieve and exceed given sales targets.
  • Ability to drive results through remote teams in a fast-paced and matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in direct sales model with varied customers such as SMEs and Enterprise alike.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals by a consultative/solution selling approach.
  • Ability to work effectively within a virtual team, taking strategic direction from opportunity owners and considering inputs from team members.
  • Proven strong negotiation skills and experience. Business and strategy planning expertise
  • Organized, analytical mind with solid problem-solving skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sales and/or technical certifications preferred, especially Microsoft Certifications (such as MCP, MCSE or MCITP certifications)
  • Travel required to meet customers and clients
