Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
The Base Marketing Manager role is to lead initiatives that drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth across our existing FWBB and Fibre customer base. This role is pivotal in shaping the lifecycle marketing strategy that enhance customer satisfaction, maximize Home portfolio profitability, and reinforce Maxis’ position as the leading converged connectivity provider.
Job Accountabilities / Key Result Area
- Responsible for driving Home Base revenue performance including ARPU growth, churn reduction, and margin improvement.
- Design and implement targeted campaign spanning from onboarding, upsell cross-sell, migration, and contract renewal to win-back strategies.
- Implement data-driven customer engagement using analytics, segmentation, and personalization to enhance campaign performance.
- Manage lifecycle extension and contract renewal campaigns through personalised offers, loyalty incentives, and proactive engagement strategies.
- Manage end-to-end campaign operations from ideation, design, testing, timely execution, performance tracking and optimization for maximum impact.
- Collaborate with respective channel and capability teams to enable integrated multi-channel campaign across digital, retail, and outbound channels.
- Maximise the use of CRM tools for personalised offers and automated customer lifecycle management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- 5–8 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, campaign management, and customer engagement strategies.
- Strong skills in campaign planning, data-driven analytics, segmentation, and personalization.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and multi-channel campaign execution (digital, retail, outbound).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder collaboration, and ability to manage end-to-end campaign operations.
