Role Title: Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at Westin Desaru Coast

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Johor Baharu for a Banquet Supervisor. The Banquet Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the banquet department, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintain efficient food service. Key tasks include supervising staff, coordinating with other departments, setting up and breaking down banquet events, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the banquet department to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient food service.
  • Supervise banquet staff, coordinate with other departments, and manage event setup and breakdown.
  • Manage inventory and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with culinary, service, and events teams to deliver seamless events.
Qualifications
  • Supervisory Skills and effective team management abilities
  • Food Service experience with a strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
  • Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to ensure guest needs are met and surpassed
  • Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Prior experience in hospitality or event management is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
