A leading automotive company in Malaysia is seeking an Automotive Service Workshop Operation Executive to manage daily operations and supervise mechanics. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Automotive, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include developing SOPs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining workshop compliance with ISO standards. This role demands strong leadership and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for the automotive industry. The position offers a dynamic work environment focused on operational excellence.
Manage an automotive service workshop day-to-day operating activities.
Supervise, direct and guide service workshop employees and mechanics in the service workshop day-to-day operating activities.
Managing work in progress within time frame.
Conduct daily briefing and regular meetings with service workshop employees and mechanics on the latest operational matters
Develop, implement and improvise service workshop standard operation procedures (SOP).
Develop, promote and implement activities to improve sales and operation performance.
Ensure customer satisfaction and all customers enquiries/complaints are settled promptly and amicably.
Monitor the sales performance of the service workshop
Carry out audit on the service workshop including 5S, hand tools and equipment supplied.
Maintain good rapport relationship with the client at the service workshop.
Manage SESC HQ workshop's operation.
Responsible in proposing budgets, workshop performance and profitability, and overall management at SESC HQ.
Conduct customer satisfaction survey to gauge satisfaction level and share the feedback to mechanics for improvement purpose.
Ensure all the standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to.
Ensure the cleanliness of the service workshop, tools and equipment are well kept and maintain
Ensure ISO Compliance (9001:2015)
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Automotive and/or its related academic qualification.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
A team player and good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Presentation).
Experienced in managing service workshop operation and manpower.
Result oriented, customer focus, independent and able to meet tight deadlines.
Good in planning, budgeting and running a service workshop.
Ability in providing solution and justifiable decision making.
Excel supervision, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Interest into automotive or motorcycle industries.
