Job Overview

CelcomDigi, the merged entity of Celcom and Digi, is looking for an Automation and Transformation Specialist to lead strategic retail automation projects across multiple channels. The role involves solution development, training, KPI tracking, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic retail automation projects, including customer touchpoints, inventory management, and back‑office processes.
  • Spearhead solution development and implementation.
  • Provide expert guidance and act as a trusted advisor to empower teams.
  • Identify opportunities for automation across the retail channel.
  • Implement transformation solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and conduct comprehensive training plans for store personnel on new automated processes.
  • Analyze data and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of post‑automation initiatives.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams (IT, Operations, Marketing) to ensure alignment and successful execution.
Requirements
  • Minimum degree holder with 8 years of experience in retail operations, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing automation solutions in a retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of retail technology trends and emerging automation solutions (e.g., AI, chatbots, self‑service kiosks).
  • Experience working within fields of retail and/or planning.
  • Any experience in change/transformation or cross‑divisional collaboration is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
