Associate Director, Process Excellence Delivery

The Process Excellence team partners across the organisation to raise process excellence awareness and capabilities across SCB and to develop and run a dedicated training offering for relevant audience(s). Key target audiences include PE practitioners and Business Analysts. This role supports SCB's transformation agenda by raising technical capabilities, driving consistency and quality, and providing colleagues with best practices and knowledge to perform at their best. The PE team standardises, simplifies, and digitises the bank, providing foundational capabilities to identify challenges and opportunities, and to support delivery activities relating to process optimisation (waste elimination, process simplification, digitisation and automation).

Responsibilities
  • Define and build the vision, capabilities, and implement the PE training programme for relevant personas/practitioners in the Bank.
  • Drive a culture where best practices, knowledge, and lessons learned are captured, disseminated, and embedded as part of how we drive Process Excellence at Standard Chartered.
  • Collaborate with the process excellence community, practitioners, and other relevant groups to ensure the PE training offering is aligned with stakeholder needs to enable efficiency and consistent high standards, delivering value for clients, colleagues, and shareholders.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and participants, prioritise and embed relevant capabilities in the organisation.
  • Influence and inspire colleagues to drive a transformation culture, continuous improvements, and enable SCB transformation ambitions and capabilities.
  • Work closely with HR, talent, and learning teams to develop and support the production and embedding of learning and development capabilities for Process Excellence, with the aim to up-skill the PE community.
  • Champion and model the Group’s values and culture; lead through example and set the tone and expectations for the team and collaborators.
  • Lead and support a mindset change towards process excellence, client/colleague centricity, agility, and accountability through standardised metrics and measurement.
  • Set effective metrics and standards, transparently communicating them to team members and Community of Practice participants, providing feedback and recognising performance.
