The Role:

  • To be responsible for overall project management in ensuring the quality, cost, risk and compliance and project scheduling requirements are met
  • To develop project plan based on business case or agreed scope for approval by Project Sponsor / Project Steering Committee (PSC), supported by establishment of the overall success criteria for the project
  • To maintain effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
  • To take a leading role in interfacing with users, IT, system implementation vendor, at all project stages
  • To actively manage project risk in mitigating all identified risks.
  • To manage the change control process
  • To monitor and advise upon project finances
  • Produce and/or maintain documentation needed for project approvals, project planning, tender, functional documents, formal project progress and other project related reports
  • To manage the flow of project information between the team and various stakeholders, through regular meetings and written communications
  • Any other work related tasks or duties deemed required and assigned by the superior or Head of Department
  • Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
  • Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
  • Other responsibilities entailed

The Person:

  • Degree qualifications in project management or similar field
  • Minimum 5 - 9 years of experience in managing digital projects
  • Experience and knowledge of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment, to meet often tight deadlines, and to work pro-actively as part of a committed team
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong management and planning skills
  • Analytical skills a must
  • Creative and has strong leadership skills
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
