  • Oversee transfer pricing, tax compliance and ensure timely submission of tax filings in accordance with local regulations.
  • Provide tax planning strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Assist in managing tax audits and liaise with tax authorities when required.
  • Prepare and review tax transfer pricing and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and advise on the implications for the business.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business decisions.
  • Support the implementation of tax-related projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records to support tax-related processes.
Profile

A successful Assistant Tax Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with relevant professional qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in Malaysia.
