Responsibilities
  • Support the Director of Security in managing daily security operations, including patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident response.
  • Supervise Security Officers and Control Room operations during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure guest, colleague, and asset safety at all times while maintaining a service‑oriented security presence.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness, including fire response, medical emergencies, bomb threats, evacuations, and crisis situations.
  • Participate in emergency drills, tabletop exercises, and safety training programmes.
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and preparation of clear and accurate reports.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, brand standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Support loss prevention initiatives and conduct basic risk assessments.
  • Coordinate closely with other departments and liaise with external authorities when required.
  • Assist in training, coaching, and mentoring Security team members.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 yearsof security experience, preferably in luxury hotels, hospitality, or large commercial properties.
  • Prior supervisory or assistant managerial experience is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures, investigations, and CCTV systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and report‑writing skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and security reporting systems.
