A leading solar solutions provider in Malaysia is looking for an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to enhance their sales efforts. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth across commercial, industrial, and residential segments. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in a relevant field and 2–4 years of sales experience, ideally in solar or energy solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical information are essential for success in this role.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Sales Manager to support our expanding solar solutions business in Malaysia. The role involves assisting in sales strategy development, managing key accounts, supporting project proposals, and driving revenue growth within the commercial, industrial, and residential solar segments.
Assist the Sales Manager in planning and executing sales strategies for solar products and solutions.
Manage and grow customer accounts by providing excellent service and technical support.
Prepare proposals, quotations, cost analysis, and solar system presentations for prospective clients.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate system sizing and feasibility assessments.
Attend client meetings, site visits, and negotiations.
Support tender submissions and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
Diploma/Degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in solar, electrical engineering, energy solutions, or related industries.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand technical aspects of solar PV systems (training provided if needed).
Results-driven, customer-focused, and able to work independently.
Willing to travel for client visits and site assessments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with solar design tools (e.g., PV*Sol, PVsyst) is an added advantage.
Multilingual ability (e.g., English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, or other languages) is an added advantage.
