Job summary

A chemical manufacturing company in Selangor is searching for a qualified sales manager. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the PVC, coating, plastic, latex, adhesive, and rubber industries, along with expertise in pharmaceutical marketing. Responsibilities include driving sales, supporting the Deputy Managing Director in strategy formulation, evaluating market conditions, and expanding the customer portfolio. The role requires travel and preparation of management reports. Competitive compensation packages are available.

For non-food must have experience in PVC, coating, plastic, latex, adhesive and rubber industry.

Experience in pharmaceutical, personal-care ingredients, food ingredients specialties marketing and new materials sourcing.

Responsible to drive the sales activities and ensure that set objectives and targets within the approved budget are met.

Supporting Deputy Managing Director in formulating and executing business strategies and plans to ensure profitability of the company by protecting and expanding market penetration and coverage.

Continuously keep up to date with market developments that can affect the business.

Evaluate market conditions and recommend appropriate next steps to maximize business growth positively.

Expansion of customer portfolio base which includes both local and International accounts, in which traveling will be required.

Preparation and presentation of management and performance reports.

To perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department and the Management as and when required.
