Job description

Dilooma is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager/Senior, Human Resources with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition and Recruitment. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment strategies while supporting overall HR operations including payroll, employee relations, and foreign workers hostel management.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (Primary Focus)

  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment for all levels, including manpower planning, job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract quality candidates within required timelines
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and recruitment priorities
  • Manage recruitment platforms, agencies, and employer branding initiatives
  • Monitor recruitment performance and prepare hiring reports

Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle

  • Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, confirmation letters, and related HR documentation
  • Manage employee movement and offboarding processes

HR Operations

  • Oversee attendance checking, leave management, payroll coordination, and staff claims
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases / HRIS
  • Prepare HR reports for management

Employee Relations & Discipline

  • Handle employee enquiries, grievances, and disciplinary matters
  • Prepare warning letters and support disciplinary actions
  • Promote a positive and supportive work environment
  • Manage foreign workers payroll and salary administration
  • Oversee foreign workers hostel management and accommodation standards

Compliance & Policy

  • Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian labour laws and company policies
  • Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures

Communication & Engagement

  • Prepare and distribute company memos (non-policy related)
  • Plan yearly working calendars and holiday schedules
  • Organise team building and employee engagement activities

Ad Hoc Duties

  • Perform other HR-related ad hoc duties as assigned

Currently in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, moving soon to our new corporate office in USJ1.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment
  • Strong exposure to full-spectrum HR operations
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume and multi-level hiring
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work independently and handle confidential matters professionally
  • Willing to travel and support branch operations when required.
  • Candidates who are able to start immediately will be given preference
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (spoken and written)
